Saturday at Comic-Con

So... some shit went down today at Comic-Con. Both Marvel and Warner Bros. had their panels today and some big things for 2015 were announced. First up today was WB. They announced the sequel to Man of Steel. However, it's not your traditional sequel. Instead, it is a Batman/Superman team-up. Yes, that was the sound of me passing out. Zack Snyder is directing and it's partially based on Frank Miller's masterpiece The Dark Knight Returns. They showed a logo. Here it is.

In Marvel news, they showed some awesome footage from Thor 2, Captain America 2, and Guardians of the Galaxy. As a grand finale, they revealed the name and logo for 2015's The Avengers 2. Here it is.

The summer of 2015 should be a very interesting summer.

In non-Marvel/DC news, Lionsgate premiered the new trailer for Catching Fire and it look AWESOME. Here that is.

If you are wondering "Where's all the Pixar news?", here's your answer. Pixar is not there. Instead of doing Comic-Con this year, Disney is doing their bi-annual D23 Expo in a couple of weeks. There is where everything about Disney and Pixar's newest films will be revealed. D23 starts on August 9 with the animation panel at 1 PM EDT. Should be fun.
