John Lasseter sat down for an in-depth interview with PBS's Charlie Rose where he talked about the future for Pixar and Disney. You can see the interview here. He talked about Pixar's future movies, including Monsters University, The Untitled Pixar Movie about Dinosaurs and The Untitled Pixar Movie That Takes You Inside the Mind. He revealed a little bit more about Pete Docter's relatively secret movie.
"Pete Docter, from Monsters, Inc. and Up, is doing a new film that takes place inside of a girl’s mind and it is about her emotions as characters, and that is unlike anything you’ve ever seen."
So it's about a girl, eh? That'll make two Pixar movies with a girl protagonist in the future. I'm intrigued as to what this film holds. It sounds like Inception, but of course Pixar won't totally rip off that film. The Untitled Pixar Film That Takes Inside The Mind drops May 30, 2014.
