The Good Dinosaur, Finding Dory, and Dia de los Muertos Pushed Back
If you've been living under a rock for the past 30 minutes, you may not have heard that The Good Dinosaur has been moved from May 30, 2014 to November 25, 2015, the spot previously held by Finding Dory. In all honesty, this is good. If you haven't heard, Bob Peterson was taken off the project a month or so ago and Pixar didn't name a replacement immediately. Pushing the film back allows the new director, whoever they are, more time to tweak and make the film their own. Because of TGD being moved, Dory and Dia de los Muertos were also moved to dates currently unknown. TGD drops November 25, 2015 now, meaning no Pixar film in 2014. But there is plenty of other stuff to look forward to next year. The LEGO Movie, Mr. Peabody and Sherman, How To Train Your Dragon 2, Rio 2, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Guardians of the Galaxy, X-Men: Days of Future Past, 22 Jump Street, The Boxtrolls, Big Hero 6, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1, Home, and, of course, the animated movie event of the summer: Planes: Fire and Rescue.
